Baltimore, MD – On the heels of the Baltimore Forum, Grace Meng received the endorsement of Maryland Democratic Party Chair D. Bruce Poole and House Democratic Whip Steny Hoyer.
Chairman Poole is an attorney with the firm Poole & Kane, P.A., and is a nationally acclaimed trial lawyer. A life long Marylander, Chairman Poole also served for 12 years in the Maryland House of Delegates, where he was the youngest member to serve as House Majority Leader.
Representative Hoyer was elected to Congress in 1981 and has served as House Majority Leader and House Democratic Whip, a title he currently holds. Representative Hoyer has spearheaded legislation on voting rights and the Americans with Disabilities Act.
